Red: A Crayon’s Story follows a blue crayon mistakenly labeled “red.” Despite encouragement and advice from those around him, Red struggles to do the things everyone expects a red crayon to do. It isn’t until a new friend sees him differently that Red discovers what has been true all along and begins to embrace his authentic self.
